Triana Hotels
Often regarded as the spiritual home of flamenco, the Triana district lies to the west of Seville’s city centre. Because Triana is effectively an island with two branches of the Guadalquivir River flowing round it, the residents consider it independent from the rest of Seville. The area used to be populated mainly by Gitanos (Roma), but is quite upscale these days. Triana also offers many ceramic factories where one can buy various tiles from authentic craftsmen. It is bordered by Los Remedios to the south and La Cartuja to the north.
