Great if you are not a needy traveller as there are no great bar facilities, no restaurant (but you wouldn't want to eat in anyhow!) and breakfast is basic, but ample. No frills, but the rooms are reasonably spacious, decorated in a pleasing modern style and the hotel is functional and ideal for a short stay. So, I wouldn't recommend it for a honeymoon, but would for a city break. It is a 10 minute walk down windy backstreets to the main sights, so always have a map handy.
Top Tip
Good tapas bar nearby at Casa Robles and lunch at Hosteria del Laurel is recommended. We only had one poor meal off the main shopping street when we took a chance!

This hotel is located in a very misleading and confusing area in Seville. Some people might be fascinated by the wonders of the old city, but this is nothing like Barcelona's old city. It is not clean. It is very difficult to find your way back to this hotel. The other importanat thing is the room itself. This hotel belongs to a group of hotels so called the Hgh Tech!
The room furniture is very cheap and have no taste with an awful lighting system. There are no bedsides. The bethroom door is made of glass and have a gap of 5 cms with the wall. The other funny thing is you cannot lock the door. if you want to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night you would have to switch on the light. That light will go straight into your fellow's eyes straight and wake them up. There is nothing to do with high tech in this hotel. It is supposed to be an Andalusian house from the 16th century but the owners, in a very stupid way, have destroyed all the original old features and modernized everything including the chairs, the sofas and the lighting. The image from outside is Andalusian but from the inside is like an ordinary modern New York cheap crap. We will never go back to that hotel.
Top Tip
Stay away from that hotel unless you want to loose your mind every time you want to go back after an exhausting day in Seville. you better choose another hotel not far from the old city but not in the Santa Cruz confusing area.

Good location for main sights, shops, bars and restaurants. Clean, contemporary hotel, the staff were helpful, informatve and pleasant without exception.
Top Tip
Many bars serving tapas. Best value and food quality in smaller off the beaten track establishments

The hotel was very good and I would stay here again. The only reason for marking it down is there is a slight problem with ants! I found 1 in my breakfast and quite a few in the bathroom! Other than that the hotel was modern, generally clean and staff very friendly and helpful.

Great location. Reception staff very helpful (with very good English). Rooms and facilities very good, no room service after about midnight or thereabouts though and no facilities in hotel to get a hot drink after this time as there is no tea/coffee in the room which one would perhaps expect in a 4* hotel, but this in no way would detract from the many positives this hotel has and we would certainly recommend and use again if we returned to Seville.
Top Tip
lots of bars and restaurants within short walking distance in any direction from the hotel.

The hotel is well situated for the main sites although it takes a few errors until you get your bearings!!
A bit of a 'faceless' hotel as regards ambience. There was a small bar,but no one working at it. Very much a base hotel and one you need to get out of to experience any life. On the first morning discovered ants crawling all over the bath and mat. Killed them off because I wanted to get in the shower! They were persistant and more kept appearing from somewhere! Reported it at reception and was assured that the cleaner would deal with them, which they did. No problems next morning.
Top Tip
Went on the open top bus and felt it was a bit of a waste as most sights are in the narrow streets of the old town and the bus is unable to go down these streets. It tends to circle around the sights. The best way to see anything is to just walk with a good map. Can guarantee you'll still get lost at times, but that is part of the fun!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Petit Palace. The family room was excellent, more than enough space for 2 adults and our 4 year old twins. The beds were large and comfortable and all fixtures and fittings were of a very high standard. A nice and unusual touch was the lap top with free internet access in the room, very handy..
Top Tip
Take the open top bus tour instead of the horse and carriage ride, you will see more of Seville and it's better value for money. A good way to get your bearings on arrival.

Excellent value. Good breakfast, comfortable rooms, quiet location, near centre, free internet and computer in room.
Top Tip
Near centre - lots to see - local guided walks via leaflet at Tourist Information. Train to Cordoba takes about 45 mins.
