Parking was very difficult and I thought the 16 Euro's charge for 1 night was expensive.
Top Tip
Catch the bus just outside the city walls, behind the hotel (No C4) this is a circular route and will get you close to the main attractions in 20 minutes (Cost 1.40 euro). If you have one, a sat nav is a must. Hotel was good value, clean with friendly staff, look out for the Will Smith look alike?

Watch out for noisy air conditioning in the older (front) part of hotel. We were given an alternative room where all was well. This was organized by the staff without fuss.
Top Tip
Within five or six minutes walk are many local shops and restaurants used by residents of the barrio and quite off the tourist track. After 5 days there we felt very much at home, even late at night. (We are no longer young but felt no threat from those who were.) Plenty of buses to the City Centre.

The marble flooring made it rather noisy in the morning when the staff turned up. When you get in about midnight and get woken up about 7am, not good. We were led to believe the the rooms were soundproofed, I think not.
Top Tip
Go to the local tapas bars in Avenue de Hermes, lots of choice and variety

Excellent small hotel, friendly staff but situated a bit too far from city centre for an easy walk. Cannot recommend the restaurant however, food was dreadful with an identical menu every night and very over-priced!
Top Tip
Make sure you take your walking shoes - lots to see.
