Dreadfully small room for the first night. Despite mailed requests at time of booking and a week prior to arrival for a lovely double room.(and no response to those mails...) we were charged a 'discounted' upgrade premium for a far better room for the subsequent two nights. Despite the very friendy staff, no one was able to make a decision about an over charge for one days internet connection-which in fact we had not used. We ended up paying this because of the hassle of contesting it. No decision making manager/boss accessible at any point.

Lovely small hotel,friendly & helpful staff,great ambiance.
Top Tip
Getting to the hotel by car can be difficult due to the number of one way roads, our satnav couldnot cope. Suggest that detailed instructions are obtained from hotel.

We loved the location of this hotel as it was on the edge of the popular areas so we had the choice of going "ethnic" or seeing the sights, all within easy reach. It has a nice roof garden although a little tired.
Our room was very, very small which we thought was OK for the price we had paid until we found out that people had better rooms and paid less. Would not have breakfast unless it is included in the price. Breakfast room cold, windowless and not very welcoming.
The airport was closed the day of our scheduled return but the staff did not mention this until we went to check out. They thought they may have a room for another night so we left our luggage in the room and came back to the same room allocation (they did not seem to know or care about their guests.) We then paid the same price for the room but without breakfast (we hadn't realised this and it cost E40!). However, they were very good at organising taxis & looked after our luggage until we eventually left for the airport. Also, 2 of the receptionists were very helpful if the head one was not around.
Would go back for the location if we had a better room at a good price.

Turn right out of the hotel and in an alley ont he righthand side there is a restaurant called de Sandra. Not typically Spanish fare but a nice restaurant although not the cheapest. Seemed popular with the locals, especially Friday/Saturday/Sunday lunchtime. Closed Sunday evening and all day Monday.
Off the road behind the hotel (Calle Paris) is the Zarabanda. No outside seating but lovely people and fabulous food. We shared starter and sweet, 2 main course and a bottle of wine for E34!
Many of the ethnic tavernas/restaurants are closed Sunday night/Monday.

Our twin room was a bit small - ok for a short stay with hand luggage. Make sure you go to the sun deck and plunge pool on the roof!

The flamenco show at Casa de la Memoria was excellent, but couldn't get in first night and had to book next night - turn up early for best seats.
Get tickets for Italica on the bus, not at the ticket office.

Our bedroom was small for a 4 star hotel (the bathroom was fine) - but it still represented good value

A fantastic little hotel, right in the heart of Seville. The location couldn't be better, lots to see within easy walking distance.

There is a great bar/restaurant just across the road. I don't remember what it was called but turn right out of the hotel and it's on the opposite side of the road (about 2min walk). We spent a great first night there, really delicious food and a friendly atmosphere. The bus tour was also great value, you can hop on and hop off at different locations and do your own thing.
